"Maradeen combines hopeful, upbeat tempos with soulful guitar solos and raw harmonies. If you aren’t careful, their groovy sound might have you jumping on your bed with your air guitar before you even realize what’s hit you."

"While this is no first rodeo for the members of Maradeen, maybe it's too soon for this project to feel disillusioned, as its lickety-split startup shows the kind of initiative and commitment most of its starry-eyed peers can only talk a good game about."

"This is a really nice release! Good old fashioned rock n roll. I bet this sounds better in Colorado or Washington with some legal recreational marijuana, if that’s what you’re into....This five piece has been around since 2014 but clearly their musical journeys began before then. Lyrically and sonically, this band is top notch with beautiful guitar solos and vocals laced throughout Above The Horizon..."

Nashville quintet Maradeen has been plucked from the competition to open for Bon Jovi at the band’s Feb. 10 concert at Philips Arena. The winner for each tour date was selected from a group of 10 finalists chosen by Live Nation; Bon Jovi management chose the contest winner from that winnowed list. “In addition to being fans of Bon Jovi, the coolest part about winning this contest is the intention and inspiration behind why they put it on in the first place,” the Nashville band said in a statement. “It shows an appreciation for every musician’s tenacity as we strive for the chance to have that one moment. They’re paying it forward and taking a chance themselves, as they probably don’t know what to fully expect from the winners. But we can tell you that what they should expect from Maradeen is our absolute best. We’re gonna give them all one to remember and we, as a band, will be eternally grateful to them for this opportunity.”

"Their recently released, finely crafted album, Mirage, is packed with influences that range from rock ‘n’ roll to jazz fusion to Americana. Songs are marked by beautiful three-part vocal harmonies and a unique Southern flavor."
